About Us

Stonehouse is a small village in South Lanarkshire located on the A71 approximately 1 mile west of the M74.

Stonehouse Development Trust was founded in 2006 and is a community development trust limited by guarantee, with charitable status.

The trust is a company run by an elected board of directors. All positions are voluntary, without salary. The board members are nominated and confirmed by election of the membership at the AGM.

The mission of the organisation is to enhance and improve the social, cultural, economic and environmental activity of the local community.
